Advantage Advertising began in the "City of Seven Hills", Lynchburg Virginia in 1982.  Originally selling display advertising, producing and promoting the "Hill City Saver" coupon books and innovative direct mail programs such as the "Kaleidoscope of Values", "Springtime Celebration" and "Seasons Greetings" direct mail programs.

The "Employee Advantage Discount Card" began in 1986 with 23,000 cards and has grown into the "Advantage Card" which now reaches 1,400,000 cardholders in eight different markets across Virginia and North Carolina. Advantage Cards bring yearlong discounts to the cardholders and a vehicle through which the advertisers can reach the customers.

Starting in the year 2000 FREEADVANTAGE.COM will bring the same savings to the Internet as well as a comprehensive way for our cardholders to access our advertisers websites as well as other money saving offers.
